If you are only looking for upload/technology assistance with your University Writing Portfolio/iwebfolio, you DO NOT need to make an appointment. Just come by the UWC during our open hours and ask for iwebfolio help.

The University Writing Center (UWC) is open and available to students, faculty, and staff to work with undergraduate and graduate writing consultants on writing at any stage of the writing process on any type of writing. We offer 45 minute face-to-face and online appointments with trained undergraduate and graduate writing consultants. Though we offer support developing your text, we do not offer proofreading or editing services; we are, however, excited to facilitate a learning experience.

IMPORTANT: Please read below about our locations and appointment options & schedule the right type of appointment on the appropriate schedule.

Appointments scheduled incorrectly may be canceled.

The University Writing Center offers three locations!

  • Joyner Library 1015: Visit us in person here for any type of writing you may be doing. Open Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.
  • Laupus Library: Visit us here for in person OR online help with any type of writing if the Health Sciences Campus is more convenient for you. Open Fall and Spring semesters.
  • Online Writing Lab (OWL): Visit us online if you are a Distance Education student. Open Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.

On the OWL or Laupus Library schedule, TWO online options are available. Please review the options below and select the appropriate response from the dropdown menu next to this question on the appointment form.
